Legend's Rise (A Fantasy R2D)

In a fantastic world, with dragons flying high over mighty cities of men, goblins and dwarves fighting in mines and peaceful herds prowling the forests, 6 people are born. These 6 people will save the world from the light ((DOWN WITH CLICHES)) that seeks to eradicate all darkness, as well as the darkness inside all beings, around the heart and brain and stuff.

RULES

No godmodding.
No making up cities, races or cultures, I'll handle that.
Skills can be anything from being better at climbing to being able to create black holes... But don't do the later, it's retarded.

Skills are learnt by saying you learn them. Just keep them balanced. You can take power strike, but not eartshaker at level 1.

And then two steel-clad soldiers with crossbows on their back and nets in their hands step out into the clearing.

"You are wanted by th eking of Harmona, barbarian!"

Foolish: 13 - You smash a branch into one's face, causing him to blink. The other throws a net (Roll 2 Dodge - 17) but you twist out of the way.

I love R2D (I've been playing with my real life friends for some time now), but this is my first time in a forum game, so please pardon my ignorance when it comes to procedure.

Umm... You are Harmonan. You might want to explain things to the others instead of killing fellow Harmonans.

I thought we were evil. Isn't killing people what evil guys do?

Am I a part of Harmona just because I said I'm Urban? Can't I be from another city- one that doesn't have affiliations with Harmona?

Heck, fleshing out your world would be nice so that I can have a backstory.

There is a thread in the Worlds section which I am working on. But all are in the same forest, and Harmona is the only Urban area in the area.

Don't know if I can learn skills while standing about in the forest, but might as well give it a go.

On a similar vein, are we allowed to make up our own skills, or only use the ones set in the OP?

Regnar, you do realize we're all playing evil characters, right, and that our goal is to destroy the light and bring eternal darkness? Your character's going to be very difficult to pull off well in such a case.

@Zero: You aren't evil, the light wants to destroy all darkness. And all beings have darkness inside them. Light elementals are crazy like that.
