Roll 2 Dodge: The Galaxy's Requiem
Anyone up for another game?
This one will be located in the farthest Terin Quadrant of a far galaxy. Humans have evolved to use spaceships to travel across the stars using Hyperwarp technology.
You begin the game with little memories, and on a massive derelict space station. You do not know how or why you are there, but you do know that you want off.
More Information will be posted here as you discover it ingame, but here is some basic info.
The year is 4436. Mankind lost Earth to Antimatter weapons in the late 3rd Millenium, leading them to become the outcasts of the world. When the Arenia Conglomerate, a coalition of human-racist aliens took control of the Milky Way Galaxy, the last remaining humans were shipped off and sent to a neighboring galaxy, where they had to make a new home. Rebuilding their race took time, but by the 42nd Century, they managed to rebuild a world similar to earth, and start their race anew. Players that begin this journey were once workers on a Plasma-Mine in space, which harvests Plasma from space itself to power humanity's machines. Contact with the Homeworld, Cylar, was lost weeks ago. Other than this information, players who begin this game have little other information.
Powers include psychic abilities, mechanics, and other such mind-control things, with more fantastical properties impossible, such as Biomancy. however, science is also possible, with mutations, study of mutation, and scifi weapons as well, which range from lasers to guns that fire depleted uranium shells.
Current Players (6 Max)
Bigkahuna
Daravel
Shakenspear
Chatix
Shinobody
Johnratchet3
Waiting List
Nuclearworm
Electro263
Dead
Frogger5
Talkal
Acutelaios

Hm. What kind of sci-fi setting is this? Cyberpunk? Scifantasy? Hard or Soft Scifi?
Maybe a bit more detail about the setting and more hooks to get me to play in the original post?

If this is like the one on the Minecraft forums (and has the potential to encounter the other two R2D groups you are running right now on Wesnoth and Minecraft) then take me off the Minecraft waiting list (Ispil) and stick me on this one!

(Posting again since there is no edit button) At least on this forum, there is no need to bump a thread yet, since this is the only thread.

I believe that is the case, especially when the two meet, if they ever did... That would be awkward at best.

Re: Roll 2 Dodge: The Galaxy's Requiem
...That sounds like quite an unwieldy system. Isn't there a character system, where a user can be playing multiple characters in muultiple games? I mean, it sounds like a really unnecessary restriction right now.
Then again, I never thought the whole multi-website interteam gaming system was all that fluid. I mean, two teams that can barely communicate with each other? It's just leading up to contradictions, like in Wesnoth's latest R2D update where some of us didn't get to attack because a rock wall was manifested out of nowhere by the other R2D's players without our knowledge- and I'm sure we've done stuff like that to them by accident, too.
It'll probably be fixed once everyone meets up here, though. Communication won't be an issue if every player's on the same forum.

Re: Roll 2 Dodge: The Galaxy's Requiem
I'll just answer for Dragon with my own thoughts (and hope he doesn't mind
)
This IMHO would be the best solution for a multi-game system. It WOULD be strange combining two games, and I think that this is a question best answered by the discretion of the GM [GameMaster].
My play on multiple games at once is that you can be in any number of games at once. If the games are ruled by different GMs, there is no need to worry of combining unless they decide to combine/meet. If the games are ruled by the same GM, it is on his discretion whether to combine them, and if so he should make the necessary changes to support this structure.
The Wesnoth R2D and this R2D are on two different levels, so you can be in both and be fine AFAIK. Let's wait for input from Dragon, I'll send him a Wesnoth PM.

You can be in any number of games at once as long as they do not combine. And Minecraft R2D never, at any point when it began had the same players as Wesnoth did.
This is going to be soft Scifi, I think the term is. Not that sure. Not that familiar with those terms. Not steampunk though.

So like your other two? Wesnoth and Minecraft?

More scifi like, with multiple planets they can visit, spaceship commanding, and etc.

Sounds... well, that just sounds awesome. Plus, already have a great idea as to my power, after anticipating my turn on the Minecraft R2D... well, now I can test out that power.
