heh. Some more orcs rolled. Some left that I can't roll now. I've rolled them in the pauses between my phone calls and all my party food and movies and that stuff But the last ones will be rolled tomorrow.
Re: FoolishBalloons R2D Medieval Monsters

Oh, btw FLAMELASHER, the +3 will result in you rolling a D9 instead of a D6 +/- other bonuses. It's not like in example Guardians of the Otherland where you roll maybe 3+3=6 ( I love that system too Darien! )
Just so you didn't misunderstand

Re: FoolishBalloons R2D Medieval Monsters
So it's not a bonus. Why call it that?

Re: FoolishBalloons R2D Medieval Monsters
it's a bonus. You have higher chances of rolling high. Remember that only 1,2 and sometimes 3 are failures. I'll show you the difference by rolling 10 times with D6 and 10 times with D9.
D6: 6,4,1,1,5,5,6,4,4,3 (Good rolls for a D6..)
D9: 7,3,2,4,1,7,7,8,5,6
As you see htere's bigger probability that you get higher rolls when using D9 (+3 bonus) That is the EXACT same system as my combat rolls, you have chance to roll better then 6 and you have higher probability to suceed.

Ok. I'll use a +4, though.

Major : Run away and recuperate. [Recovery]
Minor : None.
Recovery would apply to rolls to make debuffs go away faster.

Re: FoolishBalloons R2D Medieval Monsters
8680, noone have discovered Healing Magic yet, so you do probably need some kind of object to heal yourself. But you can always try, even if you likely will need to get a 5 to success.
Oh, another note because FLAMELASHER discovered Water Element not far ago: The only way for other guys to learn that Element is that FLAMELASHER teaches you, he is able to do it.

Re: FoolishBalloons R2D Medieval Monsters
Never hear of that word before and Google Translate won't translate it into something understandable. Could you please explain what it is?
Re: FoolishBalloons R2D Medieval Monsters
Minor Action: Since Blargh is dead, pick up his [Steel Sword (+4 Attack)]
Major Action: Throw 2 Throwing Knives at Orc Freak as I approach him, then finish him off with the Steel Sword.
Mundane is a context-sensitive word. It would in this case mean "not magical" healing. As in maybe with an herb or potion or just the body's natural healing process.

3) Of, relating to, or denoting the branch of astrology that deals with political, social, economic, and geophysical events and processes

Re: FoolishBalloons R2D Medieval Monsters
I don't think a small scratch on my chin would distract me enough to reduce my fighting skill, but I will roll with it.
"How dare you attack me, stupid orc. Die!"
Kill the orc that attacked me (Xdrargs, i think?)

Heh, it's kinda hard to make up multiple names for the damages But the scratch might be quite deep and it drips blood from it, so it might hurt
But you got me there

Re: FoolishBalloons R2D Medieval Monsters
Darien, the problem is the negative effects from your poison. If I remember correctly you will roll with either 1 D3 or 1 D4, which makes it hard/impossible to success. Maybe if anyone could help you?
Re: FoolishBalloons R2D Medieval Monsters
8680, you changed your action to "take blarg's sword" after I already posted that as my action. Might want to look into changing it again...
