A ship without a bridge = Good for the taking, we could also go for forceful taking which is rather time consuming and dangerous and it would require our man with the fast ships to risk his neck.

I'm putting in a word of caution here- if a game will be more fun if it develops the way you expect, chances are the game's not going to go the way you want- and then you either end up with a game that's not fun for you to run as a GM, or a game that's not fun for the players due to your constant prodding towards the direction you want.

If the only thing you've defined is the giant bioships thing, that'll probably work- but the more detail you put into a single scenario that you're trying to lead up to in a game, the more difficult it will be for you to get all the factors together and have the scenario play out in the epic way you want it to.

Just a bit of advice!

I meant if the backstory develops the way I want it to, and just so you know, you can either do what you are told or side with the "enemy" or even start your own empire. And it's pretty much putty in terms of how it can branch off.

And yeah, I'm just defining the ships, (Whoops almost gave more spoilers Razz) but still thanks for the advice, it's a good one:D

btw, what should I color the the engines? It's just for the simple version, So the parts will be easily identified and also I could draw the damage more accurately and pretty damn fast.

Please use this list instead of yours, the one you are using is VERY cluttered.

You can play the boarding out separate from your turn, because it will be more detailed than just 'Shoot stuff'. Do you want to do that?

Sonata(A) send tech crew to Hotel-18 to assist in repairs.
Solace(B) send marines to board and capture E7.
Vigilance(C) send marines to board and capture E7. I accompany my men and lead the action personally.
Custer's Folley(D) send marines to board and capture E7.
Galahad's Redemption(E) improve mechanical repair procedures. (hopefully get +1 or better to repair rolls)


McFarlene contemplates the enemy in retreat. "Run, ye bastids. Run an' tell 'em we're not just a bunch of pushover farmboys. Ye'll regret this failed assault, mark me words right now.". He sees a dropship flying towards E1 and notices it's serial markings indicate it's mothership is Hotel-17. "I see our illustrious Admiral Lee has decided to avail himself of our kill. Very well, we shall take E-7. Sonata, see about fixing your blunder. Redemption, it may be wise to prepare for other such circumstances. Put your repair crews through training drills."

"There we go guys. How do you like that, Wisdom?"

McFarlen opens a channel. "Aye! Don't underestimate a pissed off Scotsman. Wink-and-a-nudge."

He pulls out his antique pocket watch and checks the time. The picture adhered to the inside of the lid catches us eye and he takes a moment in the flurry of excitement on the bridge to look at the red-haired, freckled woman smiling at him. She has one hand on her swollen belly and one reaching up to cup the cheek of the young man behind her. He's leaning forward, kissing her cheek, one hand on her opposite shoulder, one hand wrapped under her arm, also resting on her belly.

He closes the timepiece, pockets it, turns and heads for the lift to the docking bay.

Edit: Just thought I'd ask. The narratives/RP: do y'all like them or find them annoying?

The accent when speaking, and the fact that it sometimes flows into normal text, is a bit hard on my eyes since I'm kinda a Grammar Nazi but other than that it will make the rolls MUCH more fun to read than just participating in something that is similiar to a DnD without narration. Which is not bad thing on it's own, but the narration makes it better.


Note about the accent: I noticed you said he is scottish, and it's only my preference for everyone to talk in perfect english Razz



@game stalkers: We STILL need more players, please join in, it's really hard when we're lacking firepower. (even though I'm with like 9 ships after this roll, right?)
